About Me

Dr. Satish Patel has been academic experience since 1997 at Gujarat Vidyapith. He specializes in Computer, System and Technology Management. Over the years he has taught diverse courses such as “Computer Application”, “Management Information System”, “Technology Management, “ICT”, etc. Dr. Satish Patel has been instrumental in designing courses such as “MBA (Rural Management)” and “BRS(RPD)”. He has authored 9 books and more than 52+ articles in various national and international journals. He has 16 research projects to his credit. He has presented more than 20+ research papers in conferences and seminars. He is working as Member of Departmental IQAC since 2014. He is also a Nodal officer for AICTE, NIRF, AISHE, UBA, KCG, Technical & various ICT related committee for Gujarat Vidyapith. He is also a Member of Board of Studies (BoS) for Faculty of Rural Studies, VNSGU-Surat.

Gujarat Vidyapith was founded by Mahatma Gandhi on 18th October, 1920. It has been deemed university since 1963 [University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956; vide Notification No. F.10-20/62-U2 of the Govt. of India].
